Having a safe and reliable vehicle is necessary in our community, but the cost of repairing and maintaining these vehicles is quite often out of reach for some of our neighbors.
Because of your generous support, cars are repaired, or given to low to moderate-income individuals in our community that are unable to afford repairs.
This allows them to take their children, or grandchildren to school, get to medical appointments, get to work, and run needed errands.

Volunteer
Who is a CCAR Volunteer?
We are volunteers who have a heart for others and meet one Saturday a month to provide help with vehicle repairs to those in need.
Volunteer Positions
Mechanics:
Anyone with mechanical experience.
Mechanic Helpers:
If you can do things like change oil or brake pads or even if you have no experience but would like to learn, we have mechanics who would love to teach you.
Parts Runners:
If you have mechanical knowledge but are no longer able to do the actual work, we could really use your knowledge and help.
Lot Check-in Team:
They secure the client's vehicles and direct them to the safety and comfort of the hospitality area. This team also helps us be more efficient, increasing our productivity.
Hospitality Team:
The hospitality team is made up of men and women who welcome our guests and their children and provide a comfortable waiting area. If you are a people person, this would be a perfect place for you.
